Here is a very unique Danish teak cabinet, circa 1950s. It features crossed legs with angled brass rod stretchers, and an original mirrored bar cabinet. This is a very attractive and interesting piece with lots of storage.
Behind the left-side and center sliding doors is one large, open cabinet space with two long, adjustable shelves. Behind the right-side sliding door is a bar cabinet with the original design-etched mirror, and nice brass details. Also in this space are three pull-out drawers, lined with original green felt. The interior spaces are veneered in rich mahogany. Under the sliding doors are three large drawers with very nice, curved pulls.
It measures 63” Wide X 18” Deep X 50.5” Tall.
This cabinet is in good condition. Some light refinishing has been completed and the finish is excellent everywhere. This is a vintage piece, probably from the mid-late 1950’s, so there are some normal signs of age and use still present. There are some light scratches, dings and other marks here and there. The brass stretchers show some patina. The legs on the left side were cut at some point and have been repaired, and both rear legs have chips on the back toe-tips. Please see the included pictures of these areas. All the doors and drawers slide smoothly. Overall, this vintage cabinet is very nice and can be displayed proudly in any collection exactly as it is.
