Here is the mack-daddy of Danish teak credenzas. This is the "Model 29A" designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture. This one was special-ordered in a striking white/black color scheme and is incredibly unique.
I acquired this from the original family who purchased it when they lived in Denmark in the 1950s. It is the longest Arne Vodder credenza ever made at 98.25" long. The design features; reversable doors with white and black lacquer on one side and teak on the other, 6-legged base, a drop-door compartment, and seven bow-tie pull out drawers. It is also finished on the back.
Behind the sliding doors are 3 adjustable shelves. There is one long adjustable shelf inside the right-side cabinet also. The drop-down door has original black lacquer on the inside.
The credenza is in very good condition with a nice oiled finish. The white and black lacquered parts have their original finishes and show very well. There is one small area on the top surface with a few little repairs that were commissioned by the original owners. And there are of course a few other very minor imperfections from age and use (please see pics). Overall this is in excellent condition and could be displayed in any top-tier collection exactly as it is.
It measures 98.25" Long x 18.5" Deep x 31.75" Tall.
Free shipping in the U.S. is included in this price. International shipping is available, please contact us for a quote. If you are local or would like to arrange your own transport, please contact me for a discounted price.
