This is a long and low rosewood credenza by Johannes Andersen for J. Skaaning & Son, circa 1960s. It features sliding doors on either side with drawers in the center. Lots and lots of storage with this piece.
This is a long one, measuring 94.5” in length. Matching rosewood grain across all the doors, and the grain is also matching on the drawer fronts. This is a well made credenza. The left side has a long storage area with an adjustable shelf. The right side is divided into one space with an adjustable shelf, and another space with three pull out drawers (or trays) with green felt liners. In the center are four large pull-out drawers. The upper drawer has the interior liner also, and a tray that slides back and forth for more storage. The drawers are constructed of oak.
This credenza is in excellent condition. All the drawers and doors slide smoothly. There are some minor signs of age and use present, such as very small marks and scratches, etc., but no significant issues. The rosewood grain is attractive throughout, and the finish is excellent. Overall this sideboard is in excellent condition. The Danish Furniture Makers Control decal is present on the back.
It measures 94.5” Wide x 19.75” Deep x 32.5” Tall.
