I don’t usually gush so much about items when writing a listing, but you are viewing one of my all-time favorite pieces.
 
This is a vintage pair of Ari model lounge chairs with ottoman by Arne Norell for Norell Möbler. These are early examples, and they are gorgeous! The beautiful leather is a warm medium/dark grey color with a hint of green, with the perfect amount of patina. The “Ari” model was originally introduced in 1966, and this set is probably circa mid/late ‘60s-early ‘70s. They are visually stunning, with elegant steel frames, and puffer-jacket-style cushions supported by thick leather straps and buckles, truly one of Norell’s design masterpieces!
 
The leather is high quality and soft to the touch. The color is somewhere between dark grey and dark green, and is very attractive. There are no tears, rips, holes, or repairs in the original leather. The pillows hang from matching leather straps which are snapped in place. The cushions are also secured by chrome snaps, and are supported by thick, black leather straps and buckles.
 
This set is in excellent vintage condition. The thick steel frames are very heavy. The metal is very shiny, with only normal wear and pitting. The leather straps are excellent, and the leather cushions are in very very good condition. The Norell label is present, along with the original decal from the Danish furniture store Ny Bolig where this set was sold new.
 
The chairs measure approximately 26” Wide x 36.5” Deep x 31” Tall. The seat height is roughly 15”. The ottoman measures approximately 25.75” Wide x 19.5” Deep x 15.25” Tall.
